Unfortunately the rain came just before we started,

but what an amazing time we had.

The Christmas story was read

and were carols SUNG in the cars

Not the usual Carol Service , but a great time nontheless

The minister wrote on Facebook

Watley’s End is a small village outside Bristol with several families in the Methodist congregation going back generations. Unable to hold their usual packed carol service, they've organised Carols by Headlight in the car park

"None of us knew what to expect or who would turn up, but in the end we had 27 cars and around 70 people come along and enjoy what for many was an opportunity to sing ‘at church’ for the first time since March. The Lord was praised and people went away smiling…God is Good, all the time (even if I did get wet!)"
